Roxboro National School is proud to announce that we have been awarded 1st Place in the Roscommon County Council Greener Spaces Competition 2025 in the Schools category.
This wonderful achievement recognises the hard work, creativity, and community spirit that went into developing our beautiful sensory garden, created in loving memory of our beloved school secretary and forever friend, Mary Tully.
The garden has become a peaceful, vibrant space for reflection, learning, and wellbeing, and this award is a tribute to Mary’s warmth, kindness, and lasting legacy within our school community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped bring this project to life and supported us along the way. Particular gratitude is due to Ms. Clare Dempsey and our caretaker, Tom Garvey who worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life.
A proud day for our lovely school ❤️
